Makeup Tips for Bespectacled

If Anne Hathawa can wear them with grace and style than so can we. Girls with glasses like me often struggle with our looks and getting ready for parties and work and still managing to look pretty. Here are a few tips and tricks that will help you look stunning even in glasses.

Girls who wear eye glasses often find it impossible to get the ideal makeup look. Most of the time to make their eyes look behind the glasses they overdo it and sometimes leave their eyes nude because they think that with

If you wear glasses, doing your makeup is a little bit different. Here are some tips for helping your eyes pop behind your frames!
  1. Ditch sparkle

Shimmery eyes makeup with reflect back, you really don’t want that. Opt for darker colors, Keep darker colors near the crease, rather than the lid. This will make your eyes appear wider.

  1. Re-touch Brows

Brows play a vital part in your looks, glasses can also put your brows on display. Be sure to give your brows a little extra touch to fill in your eyebrows, depending on the style of your frames. We suggest you don’t overdo and make them look real.

  1. Focus on the Eyes

Most us think since the glasses with draw the attention there is no need to work on your eyes, but fact it’s completely opposite. The idea is to play up your eyes even more than the usual, in order to make them striking and standout. If you are fan for bold look then go for that bold cat eye you’ve been dreaming about, complete your look with a cat eye liner and enjoy the extra attention.

  1. Focus lips

Keep your look balanced. Don’t just focus on the eyes. Contour the cheek bones with blush/bronzer, and go for a bolder lip.

  1. Curl them up

Curl your lashes to avoid having them hitting the frames all day long. Use volumemizer to add little volume to your lashes.

  1. Use Concealer

Concealer is a must if you wear glasses. Glasses cast a shadow, so it’s even more important than usual to cover under eye circles with a concealer. Under eyes and inner corner.

13th Lux Style Awards’14

Despite all the delay , LUX STYLE AWARDS 2014 (LSA’14) finally took place on 4th December
The 13th Lux Style Awards’ (LSA) high-tea had been unimpressive affair than usual, but the event had some high-flying red carpet moments, giving us something to talk about. The 13th Lux style awards 2014 was honestly different from the previous years, this year, surprisingly there were no performances or stage highlights. Rather than an award night show it was a sit-down high tea event.

The lavish dessert table was definitely an attention grabber, with delicious platters and glorious floral décor.

The celebrities dazzled on the red carpet in their branded drapes and outfits, and some of them stood out from the rest. Here’s who we think looked best at the LSA’s this year:

Aamina Sheikh in Shehla Chatoor

Cybil Chowdhry in HSY

Sanam Saeed in Misha Lakhani

Amna Babar in Sana Safinaz

Hollywood actress slapped for wearing “Short Dress”

Bigg Boss 7 -Gauhar Khan Giving Good Pose djlkz

Gauhar Khan slapped for wearing ‘short dress’

Bollywood actor and model Gauhar Khan was slapped for wearing a short dress while hosting a reality show, India’s Raw Star, in Mumbai.
Gauhar was slapped by an audience member, who said “being a Muslim woman, she should not have worn such a short dress”.

It was a total nightmare for host Gauahar Khan!  She took her place in the audience as usual while an artiste was performing, unaware of what was about to happen … 24-year-old viewer from the audience, got up and slapped Gauahar hard at least three or four times! Apparently, she got it in the face for wearing what he termed as ‘indecent clothing’. Gauahar was shocked out of her senses and went back to her vanity van to recover. As soon the shoot was over, Gauahar left immediately, after announcing the winner – Rituraj Mohanty.

Malik was accused by the shooting crew and then arrested by the police.

Do you think this was an appropriate action taken by the audience?

Fashion is about something that comes from within you.” -RALPH LAUREN.

The way you style yourself can make or break your personality. Whatever you wear should be carried in a good way otherwise you can face great fashion disasters. The idea is to follow a fashion rule which is to acquire whatever comes from within you and modify it with your own sense by bringing trendy alterations and alluring ways of carrying it. Sometimes you also need a guideline when you tend to attain a look. These guidelines provide you with some instant changes to your wardrobe goof ups or support the add ups in your overall appearance. Here are some of the FASHION DON’Ts  for the ladies out there to follow and not to make blunders.

What you wear definitely represents your personality. While buying clothes, it is very important to get just the right size. Never make the mistake of buying an outfit that doesn’t fit you. Just a small or big size could totally ruin the way how you look. Don’t try to fit in a medium size dress just because you want to prove your peeps that you can, trust me there is nothing that turns off a personality than fatty tires bulging out.

Your feet is probably the first thing a person notices .Just imagine a girl walks in perfectly dressed up and as soon as you see her feet, suddenly, your impression about her changes.

Here is the deal, moisturize your feet with a good body lotion and wear sandals, if not, wear socks and shoes.

Socks and sandals are a complete fashion disaster, if you want to protect your feet from environment or you feel too cold or whatever the reason is, kindly wear socks either with your favorite sneakers or any other shoe. Every time I spot a girl wearing sandals and socks, a zillion of my brain cells just die.

3.AVOID OVER-ACCESSORIZING56d919c0d8deb9ca77faaa68b5740ae6

Remember when they say, ‘there is no such thing as being overdressed’ but there certainly is a thing as getting over accessorized. Don’t overdo your look with too many accessories!

Here is how it should be done to be distinct; if you going for a causal day at work, university or meeting, focus on one jewelry item either wear big earrings or chunky neckpiece, don’t be too loud by wearing both. Unless you are going for a wedding which is still understandable but don’t overdo the look by wearing rings in each finger, I am sure you got what we aim to tell you

Fabric is probably the first thing one must consider after design while shopping for an outfit. In Pakistan women prefer lawns and cotton as a perfect summer wear, and chiffons, banarsi, crepe silks for weddings and party wear.

While buying an outfit keep the fabric in mind, if you are buying online check the fabric description. You really need to be considerate while buying clothes. Do check and feel the fabric while you do shopping.

Skinny jeans are the new fad for girls but just because they are available in all sizes don’t mean they would look good on you too. It is important to know if they look good on your physique.

If you have a bulky body and heavy thighs, skinny jeans are not for you, go for boot cut or either straight jeans.
